Job Description:

Part-time, stipend only. No full-time positions available with coaching positions.

Regents School of Austin participates in the largest private school association in the United States, the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).  As a TAPPS 5A/Division II school, Regents has over 90 Coaches leading 52 teams across 15 different sports.  

The mission of Regents Athletics is to redeem sports for Christ.  This mission is accomplished when we coach, play and cheer in a way that honors Christ and is salt and light to the world around us (Matthew 5:13-16).  Our core values are prayer, readiness, wisdom, others and grit.  These values form the acrostic ARMOR.  

Since our first year of varsity athletics in 2000, Regents has competed for 27 State Championships across 8 different sports and routinely competes for District Championships every year.

Board members, administration, faculty, coaches and other instructional personnel of Regents School, whether full-time, part-time or volunteer, must believe and abide by the Purpose, Mission, Philosophy, Objectives and Doctrinal Statement, evidenced by their signing a statement of agreement with Article II annually. As a supplement, the Regents Board of Directors has adopted two additional statements as clarifying language under Article II. The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy - This was adopted in 2017 by the Board to be clear on our view of the inerrancy of Scripture. Nashville Statement: A Coalition for Biblical Sexuality - This was adopted by the Board in 2019 as clarifying language on our view of biblical sexuality.
